This privacy policy describes how we use and protect the personally identifiable information that you share with us. This information includes your email address, name, and phone number. This policy governs Internet applications owned and operated by Comotiv Systems but not to web sites or Internet applications from other parties to which we may provide links. Comotiv is not responsible for, and cannot control the privacy practices or content of those sites.
When logging into the Comotiv Collaboration workspace you may get or share information, communicate with us or other members, or link to other web sites. While doing so, you may provide us with information that enables us to service you -- and to personalize your experience. To demonstrate our commitment to fair information practices, we have adopted the privacy standards typical of our industry. We do, however, urge you at all times to use caution when providing your personally identifiable information.

Profile Information
Comotiv's forms may require customers to give us contact information such as name, pass code, email address, and phone number. Users may receive information on services, special promotions, and a newsletter. Comotiv will only use confidential information provided by our users and customers to improve the functionality and services that Comotiv offers. All communications will have an unsubscribe link should you receive unwanted information.
We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address and the page(s) you requested. Comotiv uses information for three general purposes: to customize the content you see, to fulfill your needs and requests for specific products and services, and to contact you about specials/new products.
Comotiv routinely time-stamps and logs events (like features used, page visits, number of participants, length of meetings.) This data is used for accounting/billing purposes as well as for performance tuning and optimization of Comotiv services.
Security
We take every precaution to protect our user and customers private information. We use secure, proprietary technology, privacy protection controls, and restrictions on employee access in order to safeguard your personal information. When users and customers submit sensitive information, it is protected both online and off-line. Comotiv does not use any type of spyware, nor do we knowingly permit any third party or user of Comotiv Collaboration to introduce any form of software, spyware, code, virus, or digital instructions of any type that might affect Comotiv Collaboration or any user or customer data or computer system.
Although Comotiv makes every reasonable effort to maintain a safe and secure Comotiv Collaboration system, all users and customers should be aware that there are inherent risks involved with access to and communication with other remote users and computer systems. Comotiv disclaims any liability for such risks and consequences to its users and customers, which is described in detail in Comotiv’s End User License and Service Agreement, available on this site.
Each and every Comotiv employee servicing our products is obligated to abide by the Comotiv Privacy Policy. Employees who violate our privacy policies are subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination. Only authorized Comotiv employees servicing Comotiv services are permitted to have access to your personal information and such access is limited by need.

Protection of Children
The Comotiv Collaboration workspace is not directed to children, and Comotiv does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age through this Site. Due to the business communication nature of Comotiv Collaboration as well as its adult functionality and subject matter, Comotiv complies with requirements of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act and any applicable regulations.
Confidentiality
Unless, approved in writing by its users and customers, Comotiv does not share or release personal information about its users and customers, except in compliance with this Privacy Policy. Except under very narrow circumstances, we do not disclose your private, online communications. Comotiv honors the confidentiality of its user and customer private communications (i.e. email invitations, meeting schedules, and file uploads/downloads, etc.). However, what you publish to your Comotiv service is available to those whom you authorize to see the information.
Comotiv is aware that its services may be used to conduct meetings that may be private, or used to discuss highly confidential information. Comotiv understands the need to protect the confidentiality and communications of its users and customers. Comotiv provides passwords and user login information to restrict unauthorized access to confidential materials.
The contents of any workspace visual or audio, and any content uploaded to Comotiv's servers are considered the private property of our customer. Comotiv employees and agents will not view these materials except as necessary to appropriately support the service. Any viewing of such content will be restricted to select, authorized operations and technical staff that support the service. Information viewed will not be shared with any third party. The sole use of any information revealed would be to anticipate, diagnose, support or resolve any problems that might limit or disrupt the service. Comotiv employees will not act, trade or otherwise use such private information for any personal or commercial gain.
Exceptions to this Policy: we may, at our sole discretion, release specific information about any user or customer’s account or personal information in response to a judicial order or legal process served on Comotiv, as well as to law enforcement authorities or other government officials in connection with an investigation of any matter that is illegal or that could expose Comotiv to liability due to acts or omissions by you or a third party.
In the event Comotiv goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of a portion of its assets, our user personal and/or unique information may be part of the assets transferred. Disclosure of users’ personal and/or unique information is such a situation, or in contemplation of such a situation, shall be done only in compliance with this Privacy Policy. However, such a transfer may result in a change in this Policy, and you are advised and strongly encouraged to review this Policy frequently.
System Test Reports
When the user logs on, Comotiv may collect information about the user's computer system configuration so that we may assist the user on technical support issues in an effort to help them successfully use our services. We do not collect any personal information about the user during this process other than the IP address of the computer that is being tested.
Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on our web site so that customers are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If, at any point, we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we would notify customers via an email.
